Inside the gourd, there is a Nativity scene featuring 7 ceramic figurines, each one painted by hand and secured inside the hollowed-out space of the gourd.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe interior of the gourd depicts a painted midnight blue sky, and some straw has been added to recreate the ceiling of a barn. The exterior is covered in a delicate, colorful design typical of Peru. The technique used to create these Nativity scenes has been passed down over generations.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt took 3 days for the family artisan from Huancayo, Peru to complete this art.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAll our gourds are biodegradable. When it's time for its second life, please bury it in the ground (including the wood Shaquira).
